Hi, I’m Rachael, the photographer behind Rachael Rezendes Photography!
If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re looking for more than just a few pretty pictures. You want photographs that actually feel like you, natural, relaxed, full of connection, and maybe a little imperfect in the best possible way.
Photography started as something I loved, but it has grown into something so much bigger. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph families, couples, maternity sessions, high school seniors, proposals, engagements, small weddings and some of life’s sweetest milestones throughout the North Shore of Massachusetts and beyond.
Photos Don’t Have to Feel Awkward
One of the things I hear all the time is, “We’re so awkward in front of the camera.”
Good. You do not need to know how to pose.
My job is to guide you, get you moving, make you laugh and create an environment where you can forget about the camera for a little while. Some of my favorite photographs happen in the moments between the “official” pictures, when you’re laughing, fixing someone’s hair, chasing your kids down the beach or looking at the person you love.
Those are the moments I want to preserve.
Photographing the North Shore of Massachusetts
One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to photograph people in some of the most beautiful locations around the North Shore.
From beach sessions at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, to the gardens and coastline at Lynch Park in Beverly, to family sessions at Endicott Park in Danvers, there are so many incredible backdrops right here in Massachusetts.
And if you have somewhere meaningful to you? Even better.
Your backyard, your favorite beach, the place you got engaged, your family home, your photos don’t have to look like everyone else’s.

Your Life Is Worth Photographing
You don’t need to wait until everyone loses ten pounds, the kids behave perfectly, you feel more comfortable in front of a camera, or life somehow becomes less chaotic.
This version of your life deserves to be documented, too.
Years from now, I don’t think you’ll care whether everyone’s outfit was perfect or whether your toddler cooperated for every picture.
